BWD received update on risk management insurance

WELLSVILLE — The Buckeye Water District board recently received an update on its annual risk management insurance. A representative from Whitacker Myers Insurance Agency addressed the board regarding the BWD risk management yearly renewal which is scheduled to renew on Oct. 1. Board members were advised that all their properties saw an approximate 3% increase, which totaled a more than $1 million increase in value from last year for inflationary purposes. East Liverpool City Council Finance Committee The East Liverpool City Council Finance Committee has changed its meeting time from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday. A special meeting of the East Liverpool City Council will be will be held at 7 p.m., after the finance committee meeting.
