Columbiana County conceal carry permits office back to the downtown courthouse

LISBON — The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office recently changed locations for issuing conceal carry permits, directing applicants to the sheriff’s civil office in the basement of the downtown courthouse in Lisbon.

Chief Deputy Jen Tucker made the announcement about the relocation on the sheriff’s Facebook page this week.

When contacted, Tucker said the sheriff’s office on County Home Road was short-staffed so the decision was made to move the conceal carry permit office back to the courthouse where the civil division is located. The courthouse is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, but appointments must be made.

Tucker said applicants should visit the sheriff’s website at colcountysheriff.com and click on the Ohio concealed carry guide tab on the left side of the page. Applications can be found and appointments can be made there. The page also lists the requirements.

Starting at $2.99/week.
