— An officer on patrol May 14 noticed a running vehicle partially in the middle of the road on East Fifth Street and the male driver slumped over the steering wheel. The driver told the officer he feel asleep and was diabetic. East Liverpool EMS was called and checked his sugar levels. The driver told EMS he didn’t want to go to the hospital.

— Scott Knavel, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for expired tags during a May 14 traffic stop on Dresden Avenue.

— A female came to the police station on May 14 to file a report against her landlord for harassment. The female told the officers she paid the first and last month’s rent and a security deposit and that she told her landlord she would be out of the residence this month and he will not leave her alone about the rent. The female was told if the landlord showed up again to call the police.

— Officers spoke with a female on May 14 at her Erie Street residence after she called to report a male making threats and harassing her. The female told officers she did not want to file charges but wanted a report on file regarding the incident. Officers spoke with the male and told him to stay away from the female.

— Jacob McCain, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for a speed of 73 mph in a 55-mph zone during a May 14 traffic stop on state Route 39.

— Officers spoke with a female on May 14 at a Park Way residence who said he wanted to file a harassment report against a female that was accusing her of stealing items. Officers contacted Liverpool Township officers who said the female making the theft accusations had not contacted them. The officers told the female filing the harassment report to block the other female’s number and they would contact her to tell her to leave her alone.

— Nakoa Shaw, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for speed of 73 mph in a 55-mph zone during a May 14 traffic stop on state Route 39.

— An officer investigating a complaint of a male “smoking dope” at the Vista Hotel on May 14 spoke with a male sitting outside an apartment who told the officer he was not smoking anything, and he was just sitting there. The officer noted that he did not see or smell anything that would indicate the male was smoking marijuana or any other narcotic.

— Officers investigated a report of people possibly taking items from a newly condemned house on Ambrose Avenue on May 15.

— Officers investigated a disturbance at a Michigan Avenue residence on May 15. After speaking to family members at the residence who told the officers that a male family member needed mental health help, the officers spoke with the male who said he was angry because he could not find his knife and his mom wouldn’t tell him where it was. Officers noted the male did not exhibit behavior that was enough for him to be pink slipped and told the male to stop yelling outside or he would be arrested for disorderly conduct.

— Charlene Taylo, no age or address listed, was arrested and charged with OVI over .08 but less than .170 and issued a court date following an incident where she crashed her car on May 15 into a utility pole on St. Clair Avenue.

— An officer on patrol on May 15 recognized Blaine Perry, 39, address not provided, who was driving on West Eighth Street as a person with an outstanding warrant and conducted a traffic stop. After confirming the warrant, Perry was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.

— Sierra Landess, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for failing to signal during a May 15 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue.

— Officers responded to an Erie Street residence on May 15 after a male reported drug activity at his neighbor’s residence with multiple people going in and out.
