Grand Jury LISBON — A West Virginia man accused of assaulting a woman, holding a knife to her throat, abducting her and stealing her vehicle in February is facing four felony counts, including first-degree felony aggravated robbery. Jessy Paul Lee, 35, Chester, was one of 11 defendants openly indicted by the Columbiana County Grand Jury on Wednesday. Wellsville — A female called the station on April 2 who reported the front door to her Main Street residence was open when she go home and her dogs were gone. An officer told her to call the dog warden and report her dogs running away and that she could come to the station to file a report. She declined and hung up. She then called back and said her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend had broken in and taken the dogs. She went to the police department to fill out a statement and left without doing so. Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Thomas McClellan Redman III, 43, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for 10 days served, leaving 20 days still to serve in jail for domestic violence. A fourth-degree felony strangulation charge was dismissed by the prosecution, with the alleged victim notified.
