-- A female was advised of the procedure for seeking a protection order after calling into the station July 13 to request officers document a verbal altercation she had with her live-in boyfriend. The female told officers there was witness and she did not need medical help.
-- Thomas Morrison, 55, was arrested for criminal trespass and transported to Columbiana County Jail after officers responded to a trespass complaint against him at Fawcett Apartments on July 13. Officers had previously spoken with him on the same day and told him he was trespassed from the property and could not be there.
-- An officer searched the plaza on Pennsylvania Avenue on July 13 for a male after receiving a call from an anonymous caller saying the male was following women down Pennsylvania Avenue.
-- An officer, after observing a male park in front of city hall facing the wrong direction and getting out of the vehicle and walk toward the Odd Fellows Apartments on July 13, waited a few minutes for the male to return to the vehicle, ran the plate which returned to a leasing company and issued a parking ticket for parking against the flow of traffic.
-- An officer entered a Baum Street apartment after speaking with the building owner and EMS who told him the tenant was very ill and they were worried about him, finding the tenant deceased. EMS contacted the county coroner who located the next of kin and the humane society which took possession of the deceased's dog on July 13.
-- Officers investigated a possible verbal domestic altercation at a St. Clair residence on July 13 and spoke to both the male and female involved. Officers observed no signs of a physical altercation, and neither party was willing to leave the residence. Both parties involved were advised if they continued with their behaviors there could be legal ramifications, and they agreed to stay away from each other for the remainder of the night.

-- Officers filed a report for insurance purposes after responding to Wayne Drive residence on July 17 for an accident where the male residence was moving a U-Haul truck and struck a garbage can with it, causing the garbage can to hit the girlfriend's car.
