LISBON — Former Liverpool Township police chief Jayson Jackson recently entered a guilty plea to prosecutor’s information for a fourth-degree felony charge of domestic violence in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court. Commissioners announce change in upcoming meeting dates

LISBON — The Columbiana County commissioners announced a change in upcoming meeting dates, moving their meeting the first week of November to Tuesday, Nov. 3 and eliminating the meeting the following week. Commissioners normally meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday every week, but moved the Nov. 4 meeting to Nov. 3, which is Election Day. The next meeting would fall on Nov. 11, but that’s Veterans Day and the courthouse and county offices will be closed, so they decided not to meet that week.
