East Palestine police investigating drive-by shooting on West Martin Street

EAST PALESTINE — Village police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred early Sunday on West Martin Street. Lt. Don Johnson released a statement via social media Sunday morning stating that the shooting occurred in the 800 block of West Martin Street and it is believed it was a targeted incident and there is currently no threat to the public. The WLC club holds meeting

The WLC club met on June 26 at the Living Room Church in Wellsville. Linda Seaver was the biggest loser for the week and Gladys Buzzard wore the officers ribbon. Seevers won the dimes and Peggy Imburgia had three weeks weight loss with no gains. Janice Monte won the 50/50 drawing. Barb Tranter read a funny story and then Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.

Court News LISBON — An East Liverpool man accused of assaulting a woman and possessing a gun when he was prohibited from having one due to a previous conviction was sentenced to 36 months in prison. John D.
