Dear Editor: This month we celebrate Mother’s Day and two weeks later we observe Memorial Day. In combining these two observances, for some it’s a very difficult time of the year. Memories of loved ones gone on, whether it be a mother, father, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, grandparent, etc., can be a not so pleasant memory. We all have had both good and bad memories. Living in the past and holding on to the not so pleasant memories will keep us trapped and unable to move forward.
