Elections board certifies November ballot, including new money levies

LISBON — The Nov. 3 general election ballot will include issues for four additional tax levies and an additional income tax, eight tax levy renewals and two local liquor options, along with Columbiana County, state and federal candidates. Court News LISBON — A Salineville man accused of running over a deputy’s foot and fleeing after an incident when he threatened another man in the Spring Valley Road area in 2020 will face sentencing this morning in that case and a nonsupport of dependents case. Scott M. Haines, 52, state Route 164, faced a jury trial last week for the July 19, 2020 incident near Salineville, with jurors finding him innocent or not guilty of first-degree felony felonious assault related to running over the deputy’s foot.
