Wellsville council needs to decide on use of marina improvement grant

WELLSVILLE – A grant for restroom renovations or playground equipment needs used before the end of the year, according to the village’s fiscal officer. Fiscal Officer Hoi Wa Yu reported at the most recent village council meeting that a $25,000 grant the village received for work at the marina has to be used before the end of the year, so a decision needs to be made on how to use the funding. LISBON – The Columbiana County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Robert Bycroft School are once again asking for support for their Adopt-A-Class Christmas project. The project involves members of the community donating money to adopt a classroom or child served by the program. The money received will be used to purchase a Christmas gift for the children.
