Dear Editor:"You can't handle the truth!" Those were the words of actor Jack Nicholson in the movie "A Few Good Men," and that is exactly how I feel toward those that disagree with posting of the photos of the recent unloving, uncaring and overdosed adults in a vehicle with an unknowing year-old child.This unfortunately is not an isolated incident and we in the Tri-State Area are not immune to this because some may chose to put their heads in the sand and ignore this epidemic and repeatedly talk about blurring the child's photo rather then focusing on the fact of irresponsible adults - ...

City officials to be commended for photos

Dear Editor:Police Chief John Lane needs thanked for his articulate and spot-on interview with NPR relating to the drug overdose photo. Dear Editor:Liverpool Township, is on a spending spree. A couple years ago, they got double the police budget to $3 million. Then a road levy for a few more million.Now, they want a few million for a new police station - while we listen to dogs bark 24-7, cars driving like maniacs, and dodging school kids like traffic cones.Go take a look at East Liverpool's police station. 9/11 ceremony was special

Dear Editor:I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding coverage given for the 15th anniversary of 9/11. All those involved did a professional job and they must be proud.I cannot express personally to all the people who were kind to me that day. Dear Editor:In "The Fountainhead," Ayn Rand, suggests that second-handers negatively impact society. Second-handers are freeloaders, who build their success off the achievements of others.
