Dear Editor:I am writing as a concerned citizen of East Liverpool. I just read a post that was shared to the public by The City of East Liverpool's Facebook page. In that post are photos of a couple passed out in their vehicle, along with an incident report showing they had been arrested for public intoxication and treated for an overdose while there was a minor child in the vehicle.My concern is that (city officials) posted on social media a photograph of this innocent 4-year old child. Dear Editor:The last meeting of the Hancock County Commission left no doubt that management of the animal shelter will never be reinstated to the Hancock County Animal Shelter Foundation. Since almost half of the current board members have over 20 years dedicated to this cause, we are at a loss as to the reason for this denial.The contract presented to the Foundation would have not been acceptable by any animal welfare organization. Dear Editor:Anyone who attends a Hancock County Commission meeting or views a video replay of one notices the lack of respect the commissioners have for the public. The commissioners refuse to answer questions publicly and allow only three minutes for a county resident to present an issue to them. They rudely cut you off at the three minute time duration.
