1935-2026 Sylvia Duke, 90, of East Liverpool, passed away on Feb. 24, 2026. She was born on Oct. 21, 1935, the daughter of the late Carl and Sylvia (Wright) Young. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Duke; a son, Gregory Tice; a daughter, Terry Willison; a sister, Rosemary Sprouse; four brothers, Joe, Frank, Carl Jr. and Roy Young; and a companion Jack Emler. Sylvia was retired from Metsch Refractories, and was member of the East Liverpool VFW Auxiliary and the East Liverpool Orioles. She was a kind soul that enjoyed life.
