Caroline ‘Sue’ Andrews

WELLSVILLE — Caroline “Sue” Andrews, 87, of Wellsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born Dec. 1, 1938, in Weirton, W.Va., the daughter of the late Ray and Carrie “Irene” (Cline) McBane. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death on Aug. 30, 2012, by her husband, Charles R. Andrews, whom she married April 27, 1957. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leroy McBane.

Sue graduated from Wellsville High School in the famous Class of ’56. She was previously employed at AJ Olson’s Clothing Store, and as a florist at Baum Florist and most recently at the Carriage House in Wellsville. Sue enjoyed performing on stage during the All-School Alumni Lip Sync with her ’56 classmates and other alumni. She was also a member of multiple card clubs and TOPS. Sue was a member of the former Central United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughters: Tanna Teann (Steve) Newlan and Nyleptha Lee “Nut” (Michael) Mattern, both of Wellsville; four grandchildren: Dominic Andrew Bucci, Hunter Mattern, Jessica Milton, and Stephanie Brown; and three great-grandchildren: Samuel and Noah Milton and Levi Brown.

The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St. in Wellsville.
