Court News LISBON — An East Palestine man who beat a woman and threatened her will face sentencing May 18 after entering a guilty plea to two charges in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court. Taylor Scott Snyder, 35, North Market Street, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree felony domestic violence and misdemeanor aggravated menacing. A felony charge of strangulation will be dismissed. Sheriff’s Office — At 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy spoke with a woman from U.S. Route 30, Lisbon about possible fraud. She said she was notified by her tax preparer that she needed to file for a form for the Healthcare Marketplace, but she said she didn’t have an account with them. Once she called, she was advised that a man from a Florida area code filed under her taxes for the account. No money was taken from her accounts.
