Court News LISBON — A Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to an amended charge in a sex-for-hire case. Robert Zewe Jr., 51, Erie, Pa., pleaded guilty to attempted compelling prostitution, a fourth-degree felony, amended from third-degree compelling, as well as possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony, and misdemeanor engaging in prostitution. St. Clair Township — Officers found a female with a cigarette in her mouth passed out in her vehicle on Aug. 21 on state Route 170. A passerby had woken the female up. The female told officers she works at Amazon and has been on mandatory overtime. Officers asked the female if there was anything illegal in her car and told them the only thing she uses is Kratom. The officers told her anything other than 100% natural Kratom was now illegal to which she replied she did not know that and had been using it for seven years. Municipal Court LISBON — A New York man was fined in Columbiana County Municipal Court Monday after attempting to help a federal prisoner escape incarceration with a drone. Nathan Lund, 34, Beach Avenue, Port Jefferson, New York, was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served and fined $150 for criminal trespass for entering the property of the FCI Elkton Prison without permission on June 18, 2026.
