Court News LISBON — An East Liverpool man charged with passing bad checks had his case dismissed recently after being found still not competent and unable to be restored to competency. Shawn Peddicord, 44, Wilbert Avenue, was charged with one count of fourth-degree felony passing bad checks for allegedly attempting to defraud a man with a check written for $17,650 on Jan. 30, 2025. Peddicord had previously been found not competent, but was ordered into outpatient treatment in an attempt to restore his competency.
