LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set Sept. 8 for Brandon Jones, 25, West Eighth Street, East Liverpool, charged with persistent disorderly conduct and pedestrian on road for allegedly walking in the center of the roadway on Jefferson Street in East Liverpool causing traffic backups, and re-entering the roadway and impeding traffic again "approximately 30 seconds after" officers instructed him to stay on the sidewalk and out of the roadway on Sept. 9, 2024. Brown had allegedly previously been advised that he could not walk in the roadway multiple times over the preceding months.
A pretrial was set Sept. 8 for Terry Bicksler, 44, Front Street, New Waterford, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly entering a New Waterford property from which he had previously been evicted and criminally trespassed by the property owner on Oct. 1, 2022.
A pretrial was set Sept. 14 for Joseph Mason, 42, Vine Street, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly cornering a man and taking his cell phone in East Liverpool on Aug. 11.
A pretrial was set Oct. 28 for Jennifer Hunt, 32, East Sixth Street, Salem, charged with possessing drug paraphernalia and a seatbelt violation for allegedly possessing a burnt glass pipe with residue and two torch lighters during a traffic stop in East Liverpool on Aug. 19.
A pretrial was set Sept. 8 for Thomas Welsh Jr., 40, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with possessing drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a glass pipe commonly used for the smoking of narcotics during a traffic stop in Lisbon on Thursday.
Daniel Morris, 45, McCoy Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended and credit for three days in a driver intervention program and fined $550 for physical control amended from OVI, and littering from a vehicle. A charge of failure to display a valid sticker was dismissed.
Mervin Jones, 80, McSwiggen Road, Salineville, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and credit for three days served and fined $975 for OVI and reasonable control.
Christopher Hanner, 45, McKees Rock, Pennsylvania, was fined $565 for OVI.
