— Deputies assisted Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers with an animal-related call at 4:11 a.m. Monday on Kirk Road, Fairfield Township, assisting with herding a few cows found in the roadway back into the pasture from where they came. The owner of the cows was notified they were returned.
— A man on Darlington Road, Middleton Township, reported at 7:20 p.m. May 15 that vehicles were racing up and down the roadway. A deputy checked the area of Darlington Road, but didn’t find anything.
— At 6:49 p.m. May 15, a deputy was dispatched to Depot Street, Rogers for a juvenile-related report.
— A deputy responded at 5:35 p.m. May 15 to Watt Street, West Township for an open 911 line, speaking with the homeowner, who said everything was fine.
— A dog was reported running loose at 4:48 p.m. May 15 on Rochester Road, West Township, but while a deputy was en route, dispatch advised the dog was hit by a vehicle and died.
— A deputy was called to the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center in Lisbon at 1:04 p.m. May 15 for an accident report in the student parking lot where a male student said he was parked when a female student collided with the right side of his car, causing damage to the right rear fender, rear door and front door. She was attempting to park when she misjudged the distance between the vehicles. Her vehicle had damage to the left front bumper and left front fender.
— A case of fraud was reported at 7:31 p.m. May 14 by a man on Y & O Road, Madison Township, who said he gave his name, date of birth and last four numbers of his social security number to an unknown person on the Internet who was claiming to be from the Internet fraud division.
— A woman on Rochester Road, West Township, reported at 6:22 p.m. May 14 that her neighbor’s dogs are always loose and he’s revving his truck engine. She said the dogs caused damage to her husband’s vehicle by jumping on it and under it. Dispatch advised that the neighbor called in and said the woman came to his residence and was yelling at him. A deputy spoke to both of them and they were advised to have no contact with each other. Another woman called at 5:02 p.m. May 14 about the dogs running loose and the neighbor advised his dogs were back in the fenced area.
— Salem Regional Medical Center called at 10:55 p.m. May 13 to request a welfare check on a person on state Route 558, Salem Township, at Breezeway Mobile Manor. A deputy spoke to the person who said they needed to go back to the hospital. EMT EMS transported the person to Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem.
— A caller at 11:29 p.m. May 12 reported a civil issue regarding her residing with family on Glasgow Road who advised she is no longer welcome. A deputy advised her of her rights and attempted to call the family member who the caller was complaining about, but they did not answer.
— A deputy observing students leaving the Columbiana County Career & Technical Center in Lisbon at 2:35 p.m. May 12 was advised by a male student that he observed a female student collide with his pickup truck, causing damage. The deputy advised both drivers to exchange information and that he would do a report for their insurance companies.
— A man from Camelot Drive, Fairfield Township reported at 3:41 p.m. May 9 that he went to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles office to get his vehicle titled and they advised him the vehicle was stolen out of Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan.
— A deputy was dispatched at 4:49 p.m. May 6 for a criminal mischief report on Bayard Road, West Township. A summons was issued out of Columbiana County Municipal Court for criminal mischief against a suspect.
