WELLSVILLE — The crew at the Wellsville Fire Department invites the public to join them as they kick off Fire Prevention Day at the Public Safety Saturday event. The event, which takes place Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wellsville Fire Department, 1200 Main St., is an opportunity for residents to learn about fire safety and prevention and get to know their local firefighters and first responders such as EMTs and police officers. The state Legislature overwhelmingly passed a 90-day Ohio gas tax holiday that was pushed by Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican gubernatorial candidate. It should be signed into law Thursday by Gov.
