New cafe to support area veterans

SALEM — A new group benefiting local veterans is set to hold its first meeting Wednesday. The Veterans Cafe, a new program to support area veterans, will host its first monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Xterra Health, located at 130 S. NEW CUMBERLAND - Hancock County Schools will, once again, offer the federally funded Summer Food Service Program, providing breakfast for children up to the age of 18 who would like to participate. Second-half real estate tax bills now due Oct. 2

LISBON — Columbiana County property owners now have until Oct. 2 to pay their second-half real estate tax bills, with the bills expected to be mailed out two weeks from this coming Monday, in mid-August. Columbiana County Commissioner Bryan A.
