BEAVER TWP. (WKBN) – An East Liverpool man is facing felony charges after a reported police chase in a stolen vehicle. A woman called 911 just before 8:30 a.m. Thursday to report that she had been assaulted and her vehicle was stolen in Beaver Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers located the stolen vehicle shortly after that and attempted to pull it over, but reported that the driver refused to stop, leading them on a chase. Oak Glen youth league treasurer arrested for embezzling of funds

NEW CUMBERLAND – The longtime treasurer of the Oak Glen Junior Bears Baseball Association has been arrested on suspicion of embezzling at least $11,000 from the youth athletic league. David Andrew Brown, of Chester, was arrested Tuesday, according to Magistrate Court records, and charged with one felony count of embezzlement. He has since posted the $20,000 bond, and is scheduled to next appear in Hancock County Magistrate Court Aug. 12.
