Liverpool Township trustees approves reallocation of appropriations

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — During Tuesday’s Liverpool Township Board of Trustees meeting, trustees approved several resolutions to reallocate appropriations. Trustees approved the reallocation for the General Fund in the amount of $200 from the Auditing Service to the Travel Reimbursement Line Item in the amount of $200; to supplement appropriations for the General Fund in the amount of $642 for the Workers Compensation Line Item; and to authorize a temporary cash advance from the General Fund to the Police District Fund in the amount of $30,000. ELFD issues citations to St. Clair Garden Apartments owner

EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool Fire Chief Antony Cumo announced that the East Liverpool Fire Department has issued a formal citation to owner of the St. Clair Garden Apartments, 707 St. Clair Ave., after conducting an extended fire and life-safety code inspection. According to Cumo, an investigation was started after firefighters extinguishing a fire in one of the apartments discovered a nonfunctioning smoke alarm.
