Criminal case in alleged theft of charitable donations still unresolved

LISBON — The criminal case against Amanda M. Kiger and River Valley Organizing for allegedly stealing charitable donations for personal use remains unresolved. During a hearing last week before Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Washam, a new status hearing was set for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 10. A jury trial remains set for 8:30 a.m. Oct. 13. Boardman area contractor convicted of stealing from clients fails to show for probation violation hearing

LISBON — A Boardman area contractor convicted in 2024 of stealing from clients was scheduled for a probation violation hearing in three separate cases Friday, but failed to show up.
