AEP Ohio and data center companies announce additional bill assistance funding

GAHANNA, Ohio — AEP Ohio and five data center companies recently announced a first-of-its-kind effort to provide more than $18 million in additional funding to help Ohioans pay their electric bills. The funds will support AEP Ohio's long-running Neighbor to Neighbor program, which provides grants to cover electric bills for people experiencing financial hardship. Grant makes county tire collection possible

LISBON — The Columbiana County Health District will host a tire collection event from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 3 at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds through a mosquito granted received earlier this year. “Tires are a problem,” county Health Commissioner Dr. Wes Vins said. During their meeting Wednesday, health board members approved a contract with Liberty Tire for the tire event, not to exceed $10,000.
