CC Microfilm Board meeting LISBON — A reorganizational meeting of the Columbiana County Microfilm Board will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, in the auditor’s conference room on the main floor of the downtown courthouse in Lisbon. Columbiana County Recorder James Armeni, acting in his capacity as secretary of the county Microfilm Board, announced the meeting date. Anyone with questions can contact the county recorder’s office at 330-424-9517.

Free technical assistance for agroforestry and aquatic habitat in Appalachian Ohio

THE PLAINS, Ohio – Rural Action is providing free site visits and technical assistance to landowners in 44 Ohio counties, including Columbiana, Mahoning and Jefferson, for advice on agroforestry and wildlife habitat practices such as reforestation, forest farming, silvopasture, wildlife habitat and water quality protection through Rural Action’s Sustainable Forestry and Watersheds programs.
