Top of WV Visitors Center

annual art showcase

The Top of WV Arts Council invites the community to experience “Colors in Motion,” an annual showcase celebrating the imagination and artistic talent of local middle school students. Featuring works from Brooke, Madonna, Oak Glen, St. Joseph, St. Paul, and Weir middle schools, the exhibit offers a look at the creativity of the region’s youth.

The exhibit will be on display at the Summit Art Gallery, located within the Top of WV Visitors Center at 243 Three Springs Drive, Suite 17 in Weirton.

An opening reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight, welcoming students, families, and the public to explore the collection and connect with the young artists behind the work. From bold paintings to bright pastels, and even three-dimensional sculptures, the exhibit highlights a wide range of styles, perspectives, and personal expression.

“Colors in Motion” will be open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., through May 15. Visitors are encouraged to stop by, support local students, and experience the next generation of artists in the Ohio Valley. Light refreshments will be available during the opening reception.

Starting at $2.99/week.
