Small Business Vendor Event

Memories, Meetings and More and Power Fitness FT, 1571 Pennsylvania Ave., Ste B, East Liverpool, will host a Mother’s Day Small Business Vendor Event May 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature over 25 crafters and small business vendors. Adult crafts at Wellsville Library

The Wellsville Library is having two sessions of adult crafts. Coffee and Crafts meets on Monday, May 4 at 1 p.m. and also at 6 p.m. To celebrate American 250, the group will be making a Liberty Bell Windchime. Program is free. The Wellsville Library is having a Street Fighter Tournament for kids in grades 4th and up on Wednesday, May 6 from 3 to 5:30 pm. Video games, board games, and snacks are provided. Children in grades below 4th are not permitted to attend. No registration required.

The Wellsville Library will have its Friends of the Library meeting on Thursday, May 7 at 6 p.m. The friends will discuss how they can assist, support and raise funds for library events for all ages.

The Wellsville Library is having Books and Bagels for adults on Friday, May 8 at 10:30 a.m. This is a casual book chat with no assigned reading list. The Wellsville Library is having its annual Book Sale. This year introduces the $5 Preview Evening on Wednesday, May 13, from 2 to 5:30 pm. The sale will be held Thursday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 15; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16 ($3 Bag Day).

The Wellsville Library will be having LEGO Club on Wednesday, May 20 from 4 to 5 p.m. for children in grades kindergarten and up. Children have one hour to build what they like. LEGOs are provided by the library. Do not bring LEGOS from home.

The Wellsville Library will be having Adult Coloring on Friday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m. No registration required.

The Wellsville Library is having its Mystery Book Club meeting on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m. To join Mystery Book Club, call 330-532-1526 to register and pick up the monthly book selection.

Jackson Street bridge traffic

The Ohio Department of Transportation is installing vandal protection fencing on the Jackson Street bridge over U.S. Route 30 in East Liverpool. One lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions on U.S. Route 30 throughout construction. The exit ramps from U.S. Route 30 to Jackson Street will remain open at all times during construction. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained on the bridge on Jackson Street. The completion date is Sept. 30.
