1946-2025 James L. Gibas, 79, of East Liverpool, passed away on Oct. 22, 2025. He was born on April 29, 1946, the son of the late Joseph and Pelagia (Horosnko) Gibas. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Still) Gibas. He was a retired carpenter, working under Carpenters Local 186. He was a veteran of the Army, serving on 1099 Medium Boat Co., nick-named “River Rats,” a member of the Columbiana County Fish and Game Association, National Veterans Association and the NRA.
