Indians, Clippers rescheduled for Tuesday

SALINEVILLE — The Columbiana at Southern Local girls basketball game scheduled for Monday has been moved to Tuesday due to the snowstorm. The game will decide the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference champion. Tuesday will be a boys-girls varsity doubleheader with the boys game at 5:30 p.m., followed by the girls game at 7 p.m. The Southern girls are 12-0 and Columbiana is 11-1 in EOAC play. Their final league games are scheduled for Thursday with Southern hosting Wellsville and Columbiana visiting Lisbon.

The Golden Bears opened a 12-4 lead after one quarter thanks to a 10-0 run, then out-scored the Red Riders 21-1 in the second quarter on the way to a 64-32 victory inside the Bears Den.
