SALEM — Beaver Local swept the season series from Salem by posting a 5-1 win on Monday. The Beavers managed just five hits on the day but were helped by six Salem errors. Brylee Curtis led the winners with a double and an RBI. Mya Anderson had two hits and two RBIs. Addie Thurik was the winning pitcher with 10 strikeouts and three walks over seven innings. WEIRTON, Va. - This time Danica Holden supplied the pitching for the Oak Glen softball team while the team's regular battery took care of the hitting against Hancock County rival Madonna.
