SALEM — Beaver Local swept the season series from Salem by posting a 5-1 win on Monday. The Beavers managed just five hits on the day but were helped by six Salem errors. Brylee Curtis led the winners with a double and an RBI. Mya Anderson had two hits and two RBIs. Addie Thurik was the winning pitcher with 10 strikeouts and three walks over seven innings. WEST UNION, W.Va. — Oak Glen's baseball team was swept in a doubleheader on Saturday against Doddridge County. In the first game, the Bears managed four hits in a 6-1 loss.
