— Officers helped push a disabled vehicle out of the roadway on Feb. 1 on Sprucevale Road.

— Officers attempted to speak with a female on Feb. 1 at the front door of a Stagecoach Road residence over concerns of her being suicidal. The female would only talk to the officers through the window. They were able to find her to not be suicidal.

— A dog that was found at Aldi on Feb. 1 was taken to the police station where officers attempted to contact the owner using the number on the dog’s collar, but they got no response. When officers had to respond to a call, CVFD took the dog for the officers and located the owner.

— Officers announced themselves several times before entering an Irish Ridge Road apartment which was called in for the door being left open on Feb. 1. Officers entered the apartment to investigate when the resident arrived. She said her mother was the last one out and must have left the door open.

— Officers checking on an open 911 call at a Sprucevale Road residence on Feb. 1 found the call to be accidental.

— Officer checking on a person with mental health issues on Feb. 2 arrived at a Summerset Drive residence with Northstar to speak with the male who said the government was trying to harm him by putting devices in his body and other statements. The male voluntarily allowed NorthStar to transport him to the hospital.

— An officer stood by with a disabled vehicle located in a bad spot on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road on Feb. 2 until a tow truck arrived.

— An officer conducting a traffic stop on Feb. 3 on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road observed a car go left of center and conducted a traffic stop and issued the driver a warning.

— A driver was issued a verbal warning for no license plate light following a Feb. 3 traffic stop on state Route 170.

Sheriff Reports

— A deputy was dispatched at 6:16 a.m. Tuesday to a report of littering on Augusta Road near Ridge Road, West Township, finding a twin mattress and box spring left on the road against a snow bank. The items were photographed and dragged off the roadway onto the west shoulder. The deputy contacted West Township for removal of the items from the roadway. No suspects were identified after talking with witnesses.
