— A warrant was issued for the arrest of Sean M. Zett, 40, address not provided, for theft of a motor vehicle after the highway patrol recovered the 2024 Ford Raptor valued at $66,990 in Columbus. The vehicle was stolen from Tri-State Ford on Jan. 17 after being taken out for a test drive by Zett. The highway patrol told East Liverpool officers that Zett has several felony warrants
— Officers responded on Jan. 17 to Lincoln Avenue where residents had reported a loud bang and truck driving on a rim. Officers located the truck and spoke to the owner who said the tire fell off while driving the truck, and he was replacing the tire the next day after getting new lug nuts for it.
— Officers advised a resident who filed a complaint against a male for harassment by repeatedly driving slowly by their College Street residence on Jan. 17, that they would do extra checks.
— Officers advised a couple who were drinking and arguing to separate for the night after responding to a disturbance call at their St. John Street residence on Jan. 17.
— An officer checked the area of Shadylane Drive on Jan. 17 in search of a gold Chevy reported to be driving around a parking lot blowing its horn.
— Officers on Jan. 17 conducted a welfare check on a St. Clair Avenue resident. They spoke to the resident who told them everything was okay.
— A driver who was pulled over for no headlights during a Jan. 17 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue was told that she would need to get a valid driver to get her and the vehicle after she told the officer she smoked marijuana earlier and the officer observed a burnt roach. A valid driver arrived for the female.
— An officer checked the area of May Street on Jan. 17 after receiving a report of suspicious vehicles driving past a residence.
— Officers searched the area of West Eighth Street on Jan. 17 after a hang up 9-1-1 call with a male saying he did not want a female in his car. They pinged the location of the call to search.
