County Sheriff
— A deputy was dispatched at 10:44 p.m. Saturday to Shelby Road, Center Township, for a domestic violence report. Frederick Earl Kruger, 34, Shelby Road, Lisbon, was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence and felonious assault and taken to the Columbiana County jail.
— A woman reported at 6:09 p.m. Saturday that she received a call from who she believed was her bank, but it appeared to be a scam. She called the number and spoke to the person, who advised her basic information, but then the person began to ask for personal information. She gave no information and her bank was notified of the call.
— A deputy was dispatched to Carmel Achor Road, Middleton Township at 4:19 p.m. Saturday for a domestic violence report. A refusal was signed by both parties involved.
— Chippewa Township Police, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, called at 3:44 p.m. Saturday to request a deputy make contact with a woman on Brushville Road, Unity Township, in Columbiana County, to have her call them regarding a hit/skip she was involved in with her vehicle. A deputy made contact with her and did observe damage to the passenger side of her vehicle.
— A man on Lisbon Road, Salem Township reported at 3:01 p.m. Saturday that his license plate on his trailer was gone and last seen the day before. He justed wanted a report on file for a stolen license plate.
— A disturbance was reported in the area of state Route 11 in Madison Township at 2:59 a.m. Saturday, but a deputy and an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper checked the area and made no contact with any persons needing assistance. A man in a vehicle was found on East Liverpool Road, but was not involved. Nothing suspicious was found.
— An alarm was reported at the Farmers National Bank on U.S. Route 62, Butler Town ship at 1:18 a.m. Saturday. The business appeared secure when checked.
— A caller at 4:50 p.m. Friday advised he shot a dog who had been roaming on his property for the last two weeks, saying the dog had attacked and killed his rooster and chickens. He was advised a report would be on file and he may dispose of the animals.
— Vases were reported stolen from three family members’ graves at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery on 12th Street, Beloit at 3:38 p.m. Friday.
— A deputy was dispatched to Old Lincoln Highway at 3:41 p.m. Friday regarding a medical involving an apparent intoxicated older man. It was advised he believed he was drugged by his friend from a can of alcohol that he opened. An ambulance arrived and the man refused treatment against medical advice.
— A deputy conducted a warrant attempt at Malone Road, Washington Township at 8:40 p.m. Thursday. The person, who’s name was not included on the report, was placed in custody and taken to the county jail.
— A property dispute was reported at 1:33 p.m. Thursday on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township. A deputy tried several times to reach the person, but was unable and left a message.
— Deputies responded at 6:04 a.m. Thursday for multiple panic alarms and fire alarms called in at 5:27 a.m. Thursday on Ellsworth Avenue, West Township. Sandy Creek Fire had cleared the scene with no findings. Deputies met with the resident who advised of problems with the alarm system. A call had been placed to the alarm company for repair.
— A suspicous vehicle was reported in a driveway on Y & O Road, Madison Township at 3:29 a.m. Thursday. The yard and out buildings were checked and found secure. There was no evidence of any other motor vehicle at the property except what was supposed to be there and no evidence of persons.
— A deputy conducted a welfare check on Sprucevale Road, Middleton Township at 5:26 p.m. Oct. 1 and found the person was okay. The deputy called the person’s relative to advice them the person was okay.

— Jasmine Griffin, of East Liverpool, was arrested on Sept. 1 for public intoxication and trespassing.
— Deborah Metalik, of New Cumberland, was arrested Sept. 3 on a charge of first offense DUI.
— Gary Jackson Jr., of Toronto, was arrested Sept. 6 on charges of third degree DUI and obstruction.
— Ethan Johnson, of Wellsburg, was arrested Sept. 12 on charges of felony fleeing and driving while license suspended for DUI.
— Anthony Rocchio, of Weirton, was served Sept. 14 with an arrest warrant.
— Clint McKinnon, of Chester, was arrested Sept. 16 on charges of public intoxication, failure to appear and served with a capias warrant.
— Dustin Wilson, of Newell, was arrested Sept. 17 on a charge of domestic battery.
— Brittany Sutton, of Weirton, was arrested Sept. 17 on a charge of joyriding.
— Bryan Bennett, of Newell, was arrested Sept. 19 on a charge of domestic battery.
— Charles Angelio, of Opelousas, La., was arrested Sept. 19 on charges of third offense DUI and driving while license suspended for DUI.
— Karl Meeks, of New Cumberland, was arrested Sept. 23 on a charge of possession of wildlife.
— Freddie Groves, of Weirton, was arrested Sept. 23 on a charge of domestic assault.
— David Wifford, of New Cumberland, was arrested Sept. 26 on a fugitive from justice warrant.
— Christi Flores, of New Cumberland, was arrested Sept. 27 on a charge of domestic assault.
— Chris Woolley Jr., of Wellsville, was arrested Sept. 29 on charges ofdomestic battery and two burglary counts.
