— A woman from Powhatan, Ohio called at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday to request a welfare check on her mother on Lowmiller Road, West Township, who has not been answering her phone all day. A deputy spoke to the mother, who said her phone battery was dead and was charging now. The deputy advised the woman.

— A deputy was dispatched at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday to state Route 9, Hanover Township, for an unruly juvenile report. The report was sent to Columbiana County Juvenile Court for review.

— Deputies were dispatched at 9:01 p.m. Saturday to Jimtown Road, Unity Township for a welfare check. Deputies spoke to the person, who was fine.

— An unnamed driver was issued a citation for speed for 71 mph in a 55-mph zone and a court date for May 13 following a May 7 traffic stop on state Route 7. The driver was unable to provide proof of insurance and told to do so at his court hearing

— An unnamed driver was issued a citation for speed for 70 mph in a 55-mph zone following a May 7 traffic stop on state Route 7.
