EAST LIVERPOOL — John Torma, East Liverpool City Council President, passed away on July 8 at the age of 72. Torma has served the East Liverpool community council president for more than 30 years. LISBON — The 7th District Court of Appeals recently upheld the conviction of Elvin EJ Tisdale, who was sentenced last year to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing Brycen Douglas in 2021.
