WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville Police Department is short on staff, so overtime may increase in the near future. Lt. Marsha Eisenhart Tuesday told village council members that one of the police officers should know by Sept. 8 if he is going to need surgery and if he does, he will probably be off work until February. LISBON — The Columbiana County commissioners approved an emergency purchase of road salt in their meeting Wednesday. The commissioners unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the purchase of rock salt from Hoopes-Edwards Capital, LLC for $126.50 per ton at a cost not to exceed $124,999.99.
