NEW CUMBERLAND – Months after discussing whether to take oversight of the county’s recreation system themselves, Hancock County commissioners on Thursday approved the appointment of two new members to the Hancock County Board of Parks and Recreation. LISBON — Columbiana County Board of Elections board member Greg Smith of Salem resigned Friday effective today, with the Columbiana County Republican Party Central Committee expected to name a replacement.
