East Liverpool receives $2.2 million in loans for water and wastewater

EAST LIVERPOOL – The City of East Liverpool has been approved for two loans with a combined total of more than $2.2 million from the Ohio Development Authority which will go toward reviews and engineer plans to improve the city’s drinking and wastewater infrastructures. The first loan for $772,000 is for five years at 4.5% apr that will be used for the preliminary engineering report for the evaluation of alternatives to address the issues in the aging water system.
