SCPD to host Calcutta Cars and Coffee Car Show

ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP — The St. Clair Township Police Department will be hosting the Calcutta Cars and Coffee Car Show to benefit Tim Hortons Camp Day. The car show, which will also features a Chinese Auction held inside the restaurant, will take place at Tim Horton’s, 15580 state Route 170, Calcutta, from 4 to 6 p.m. July 14. Columbiana County Park District to hold public hearing on 2027 budget Monday

LISBON — The Columbiana County Park District will hold a public hearing on the 2027 budget on at 5:15 p.m. Monday at the park office at 130 Maple St., Lisbon, Ohio. The purpose of the hearing is an opportunity for the public to provide comments on the proposed budget. LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — The Liverpool Township Board of Trustees and Road Supervisor Chris Bosworth are requiring all vehicles to be parked off the road for the streets including in this year’s chip and seal program. Driver ID'd in pedestrian fatal in Perry Township

SALEM — The driver involved in a fatal vehicle/pedestrian crash near the Salem Golf Club on state Route 45 on June 18 has been identified as Gage M. Palmer, 23, Steubenville, according to the recently issued Ohio State Highway Patrol report. Palmer was northbound on state Route 45 at 6:17 p.m. when his Oldsmobile 88 traveled off of the right side of the roadway, struck the pedestrian, then drove back onto the roadway to the right and struck a culvert.
