Lock 24 location turns into event center

ELKTON (WKBN) — A historic Columbiana County landmark is entering a new chapter. A barn along Route 154 in Elkton that dates back to the 1830s is under new ownership. Most people know the property as Lock 24, but now it’s called the 1830 Gathering Place. The building has seen many businesses come and go throughout the years. Now, owner Daniel Geisler says he’s ready for his business to be the next big thing to stay. “The big change we’re doing here is that it’s going to be an event center,” Geisler said. CPR CLASSES SCHEDULED FOR JULY NEW CUMBERLAND, W.Va. — The Hancock County Health Dept. will offer Basic Life Support and Heartsaver classes in July. The BLS class which includes CPR and AED training geared toward healthcare worked is slated from 9 a.m. to noon on July 7. A written exam is mandatory. Cost is $25. Man charged in ink pen attack found not guilty by reason of insanity

LISBON — A Washingtonville man found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2024 for felonious assault and other charges will remain on conditional release in the community. Liverpool Township trustees anticipate fire levy

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — The Liverpool Township trustees Tuesday approved a resolution of necessity requesting the county auditor to certify tax valuation information in anticipation of a levy in excess of the ten-mill limitation. Two injured in roll over crash in Liverpool Township

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — Two sisters were injured Tuesday morning during a roll over crash on Westfield Road in Liverpool Township.
