New cafe to support area veterans

SALEM — A new group benefiting local veterans is set to hold its first meeting Wednesday. The Veterans Cafe, a new program to support area veterans, will host its first monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Xterra Health, located at 130 S. Broadway Ave. According to a press release, the Veterans Cafe is intended to offer “a comfortable gathering where veterans and their families can connect, learn, and support one another” and veterans from all communities in the area are invited to attend.
