Rogers School Auction
The Rogers School Auction benefiting Pine Hollow Amish School will be held at 5 p.m. Aug. 28 at 46208 Pine Hollow Road, Rogers. Raffles include meat package from Kill Creek meat $10 per ticket or for $50 for six; $500 cash $5 per ticket or $20 for five; as well as several baskets. Food and drinks will be served. Choose To Lose Group
Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on July 28 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.
Pam Fouse gave the secretary's report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasurer's report. Both were approved as read.
Fouse was the CTLG biggest loser and also the monthly biggest loser. Penny Perorazio was the runner up.
Jackie Wilson and Fouse had Three weeks weight loss.
The no no's are pizza and chips.
Perorazio won the Food Journals, Dimes were held over, and Fouse won Share The Blessing.
Perorazio and Fouse got to Put A Turtle In The Tank.
Winners of the No Fibbing are Jean Ferrebee, Pat Heacock, Jackie Wilson, and Perorazio.
Stephens read an article on Message Benefits.
Perorazio closed the meeting with Prayer requests followed by the Lord's prayer. New and former members are always welcome. For more information call 330-383-8217.
WLC club meeting
The WLC club met on July 21 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with the pledge, prayer and roll call.
The best loser was Autum Carnegie and Peggy Imburgia wore the officers ribbon. The dimes will be carried over.
Linda Seevers had three weeks weight loss and Imburgia turned in 10 weight loss slips and received a tea towel.
The no no is soda and Barb Tranter won the 50/50 drawing.
Mary Schmidt explained the new contest and more information will be given next week.
Tranter read a funny and then Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
