Wellsville Flood Wall Training Canceled WELLSVILLE — The Oct. 17 closure of Main Street in Wellsville near the marina for the fire department to conduct its annual flood wall training has been canceled. The training has been postponed until spring. Main Street will remain open, Wellsville Fire Chief Barry Podwel said. This pertains only to the planned road closure near the marina and has no impact on the Main Street closure downtown. 11/30 interchange Phase 2 closure to begin Monday

The second phase of the pavement rehabilitation on U.S. Route 30 near West Point will begin Monday. Construction will be active at the U.S. Route 30/State Route 11 interchange, which will be closed. So will the U.S. 30 westbound ramp and the state Route 11 northbound ramp from U.S. 30/East Liverpool Road. The closure will be for 30 days. The detour for U.S. 30 westbound, continue north on state Route 11 to the exit for state Route 154, then state Route 11 southbound back to U.S. 30 westbound.
