Annual Greenway Trail Day celebrates history, reading and outdoor recreation July 11

LEETONIA – The Friends of the Greenway Trail invite outdoor enthusiasts of all ages to the annual Greenway Trail Day on July 11 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. To keep trail-goers fueled, water stops featuring refreshments and light snacks will be stationed at the Lisbon, Teegarden Covered Bridge, Franklin Square and Leetonia parking lot areas along the route. Trash will be collected from East Liverpool city residences Friday EAST LIVERPOOL — Trash will be collected from city residences Friday, July 3. The refuse and recycling department employees are scheduled to work on the day before Independence Day. Residents whose trash is normally collected on Fridays are asked to have their trash set out at the curb the night before for pick up the next morning as usual.
