Lisbon Historical Society plans bus trip honoring William McKinley Lisbon Historical Society is planning a bus trip to honor the 25th President of the United States and Ohio’s sixth president. On Wednesday, Aug. 19, the bus will be heading to Canton to tour the final resting place of William McKinley and his wife Ida. A “Nooks and Crannies” tour will take participants to parts of the basement not on display to the public. The memorial is fully accessible. East Liverpool Friends of the Library Book Sale The Friends of the Carnegie Public Library in East Liverpool will be holding book sales during the month of July. The book sales will be held July 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day in Carnegie Library’s Community room.
