Goodballets celebrate 69th anniversary

EAST LIVERPOOL - Gerald C. Goodballet of East Liverpool, celebrated his 90th birthday on Sept. 24. He is a retired assistant fire chief having worked for the city of East Liverpool. He is also a member of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and an active member of the Riddle Masonic Lodge 315.Jerry and his wife Charlotte, also just celebrated their 69th Wedding Anniversary on Aug. 30.They have two daughters, Connie Frederick and Linda Harrold; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.A celebration was held in their honor Sept. 27, at Locke 24 in Elkton, with family and friends.

Allmons celebrate 60th anniversary

LISBON - Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Allmon, celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 9, 2015.They were married on Sept. 9, 1955 at the Salineville Methodist Church. Together they attribute their long marriage to their strong Christian faith and belief in God. They have two children, Thomas A. Allmon of Richmond Hill, Ga.; and Lori A. Allens celebrate 50th anniversary

WELLSVILLE - Jack and Malinda Allen will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on Aug. 30, 2015. They were married Aug. 30, 1965 in Willows, Calif. by Dr. Robert Weichers in the LDS Chapel. They were both in the Air Force and stationed at Travis AFB California where they met and later married. They have three children Nathen, Rebeca and Andrew.

Howards celebrate 60th anniversary

EAST LIVERPOOL - Lorin and Barbara Howard of East Liverpool celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 9 at Crickster's Restaurant with family and friends. Their children, Stephanie, Perry, Lori and Lisa hosted the festivities.Mrs. Howard, the former Barbara Buxton, worked at Tad Motors for 20 years before retiring in 1990.Mr. Howard worked for FirstEnergy at the Bruce Mansfield and Toronto Plants before retiring in 1992.They were married Aug. 6, 1955 in Winchester, Va.

Marshaleks celebrate 50th anniversary

LISBON - Lifelong residents Jacob Jr. and Paula (Little) Marshalek celebrated their 50th anniversary on July 31.The couple met in Franklin Square in 1964 and were married July 31, 1965 at St. George's Catholic Church by the Rev. William Hohman.Mr. and Mrs. Marshalek owned and operated JA Machine Co. Inc. until retiring May 31, 2015 after the company was in business for 65 years.They celebrated by driving to Las Vegas to be with their daughter, Cynthia, and renewed their vows at Graceland Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas and were married by Elvis.

Carnegies celebrate 25 years

EAST LIVERPOOL - William and Billie Joe Carnegie of East Liverpool will celebrate their 25th anniversary Tuesday. They were married Aug. 11, 1990, at the Wintersville Community Chapel, with Delbert Lash officiating.They are the parents of two children, and one grandchild with another on the way.Mr. Carnegie has been employed for 15 years at Kentak Products in East Liverpool. Mrs. Carnegie is a homemaker.They attend Beachwood Free Methodist Church of East Liverpool.
