Millers celebrate 70 years

EAST LIVERPOOL - Ralph and Thelma Miller, of East Liverpool, will celebrate 70 years of marriage on July 31, 2015. The couple was married July 31, 1945 at Racine, Ohio.Mr. Miller was employed with Kerr Lumber before retiring. Mrs. Miller formerly worked at Foodland and Kroger's.Both are active members of the Fredericktown Christian Church.They have three children: David of Hanoverton; Larry of East Liverpool; and Karen of Boardman. They have six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Goveys celebrate 50 years

EAST LIVERPOOL - Charles and Martha Govey of East Liverpool, celebrated their 50th Anniversary May 15, 2015, with a celebration, hosted by their children, on the Gateway Clipper Pittsburgh, with a trip planned at a later date.They were married May 15, 1965 at East Liverpool First Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. Clyde Schlosser and Rev. Robert Thomas. Their attendants were Joseph and Sue Bucheit.They have three children: Robert Govey, Steven Govey, and Dr. Suzanne Allen; and seven grandchildren.
