Tices celebrate 60 years of marriage

EAST LIVERPOOL - Jim and Dorothy Tice will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on March 10, 2016. They were married March 10, 1956, in East Liverpool at Grace United Presbyterian Church.The former Dorothy Mae Stoakes, daughter of the late John and Ruth Stoakes, became the bride of James R. Tice, son of the late Robert and Bea Tice. The late George Parfitt, cousin of the groom served as best man. Barbara Richardson Noonan was maid of honor.The Tices are lifelong residents of East Liverpool. Mr. Tice retired from Crucible Steel in 1983 and the Columbiana County Health Center in 1999. ...

Williamses celebrate 50th anniversary

EAST LIVERPOOL - Gary and Patty Williams of East Liverpool, will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary, Feb. 25, 2016.They were married in Monroe, Mich. on Feb. 25, 1966 by the Rev. Paul Markham of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe.They took a trip to California for their son Brian's wedding, followed by a trip down the coast to visit Mr. William's brother in Palm Springs, then traveling over to Scottsdale, Ariz. to see his sister before flying home. Phil and Audrey Mahers celebrate 65th anniversary

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Phil and Audrey (Bates) Maher recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in Kalamazoo, Mich. They were married Aug. 12, 1950 in Salineville, Ohio. Phil retired as Superintendent of Wellsville Schools in 1986 and Audrey retired as owner and operator of Audrey's Beauty Salon in Salineville. After retirement, they spent four years living in Anchorage, Alaska and touring/fishing throughout the state.
