The Clippers scored the first 15 points to beat Southern Local, 81-51, and claim a share of its third straight Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference title. WELLSVILLE — Shawn Carter, the quarterback on Wellsville’s 1994 Division V state runner-up team, is taking over as the Tigers’ new head football coach. Carter, who works as a chef at Franciscan University in Steubenville, is expected to be officially named at Monday’s board of education meeting.
