East Palestine hosts USA watch party

EAST PALESTINE — A gold medal watch party to cheer on former East Palestine student and Team USA hockey player J.T. Miller will be held Sunday morning at the East Palestine High School auditorium. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. with the USA-Canada hockey match in the Olympic final to start at 8:10 a.m. Fans are encouraged to wear red, white and blue and to bring signs. Miller attended East Palestine schools through his sophomore year until moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to join the United States National Team Development Program. COSHOCTON — East Liverpool senior Lani Rudibaugh is headed to the state bowling tournament. The Potter rolled a 491 series to place second at the Division II district meet Thursday at Legacy Lanes.
